Silversun Pickups third album (Neck of the Woods - 2012) was a giant step backwards from their first two (Carnavas & Swoon). Disappointing to listen through it after expectations were heightened. But the album was saved somewhat by the second to last song....Gun-Shy Sunshine....which has been stuck in my head for a couple weeks now. Got around to listening to the only SSP album that I hadn't heard yet, Widow's Weeds. I'd say this one is right up with Swoon. Liked it a lot. And the song 'Don't Know Yet' has gotten stuck in my head. I've had C'mon C'mon by Def Leppard stuck in my head recently for some reason, despite not listening to it in ages. The name always reminds me of the "well, well well" song by Rappin' Ronnie Reagan in the Simpsons though, so maybe that's what got it stuck in there. (heh heh, they do say "c'mon" a lot)
