It is clear that he doesn't peer review any of them, choosing to "move fast and break things" (which you just can't do on a platform like this) or if he does it's poisoned by sycophants or employees who daren't say anything negative for fear of losing their visa. Still blows my mind there isn’t a successful 1:1 copy of the system. Mastodon has all these weird quirks that make it something else entirely. I guess that tech just doesn’t scale well enough for a smaller dev or company to be able to re-launch it.
