The Armored Kuruma is on sale this week so now is the time to get one if you don't have one. It's really useful and pretty fun to drive.

Agreed, I used it so much in my early days that the sound of the engine and turbo blowout valve is like a nostalgia trip now

Doesn’t it also handle exactly the same off-road as on? Or did I hallucinate that?

Both Kuruma and Armored Kuruma have an offroad traction loss value of 0, which means you are correct.

You did not, its pretty sweet and makes it a fun rally car

Also, 100% agree with the nostalgia factor.

I'm slowly building up my nightclub empire; got 5 technicians sourcing 5 businesses (coke, cash, meth, crates, and bunker), and I'll have the other two businesses purchased soon enough. Then I'll expand my storage to the max. And that full warehouse sale will be so sweet. I always play in a group of three other people, so we're regularly all in on everyone's business delivery mission, getting 10% to help, and getting the three person backup team when you're the one selling.

Also, I love the Kosatka. It's almost entirely cumbersome to move, but the idea of having this huge Russian sub is just fantastic.

Don't bother, you're better off selling what you have before coke and meth (the most valuable goods and the ones that max out first) top off and getting those back to producing. Definitely prioritize storage as that also delays raids.

There's no bonus for selling a full warehouse. You're best off selling before you hit about 80 units because that's what the speedo holds. Should be about $500k a sale.

Oh yeah… I remember when I was grinding export vehicle sales in a solo lobby and Peking the kuruma at juuuust the right point where those sets of goons would appear and start coming after you with their laser precision shots from so far away you couldn’t see them yet.

Zoom over in the car, stop right at the point where their red circles appear on the minimal, jump in the kuruma and waste 4 sets of those assholes before proceeding with the delivery

Eh. If you have the money, I'd buy the extra storage and let the five main businesses run for a bit longer.
$1.2 mil with full storage is the most you can do there AFK. Anything more courts a police raid, which steals all your poo poo.

I average around $1mil per sell through the nightclub. Combined with the max agency payout and max popularity nightclub, every session nets $1.5-2mil, with a bit of assassination grind and autoshop deliveries.

Is there any way to get the Arcade payout to increase? I have mine filled with games and I think I get like $2,000 a day.

I get a bit more than that, but it tops out at $50k, and the payment rate scales like the rest of them. So when the arcade gets $5000 after 15 minutes, the popular nightclub gets I think somewhere between $25-45k during the same time.

I think arcade game variety helps speed it up, but I could be wrong. I own about 5-6 different machines, though my arcade is packed full with duplicates of all of them.

Pope Corky the IX

I own every machine and filled the entire place, which means you'll still get some duplicates, but the only other thing I could change is placement. I don't think it's exactly $2,000, I'll have to check, but it's still stupidly small considering how much work you can put into it.

Otacon
Aug 13, 2002

I'm pretty sure that as long as you fill every slot with a game, you get $5,000/day

You could even just use the same machine for every slot as long as you are taking up all of the slots.

Pope Corky the IX

I'll have to check later, it seems like I'm over exaggerating, but it didn't seem like I was getting much of a return on investment considering the machines average $300k each. Especially compared to the nightclub and agency.

Oh, it absolutely isn't worth it unless you legitimately like playing the games themselves. I enjoy Street Gangs or whatever the top down grid based GTA clone is called. Don't Cross the Line isn't bad, either, but I can play that in my CEO office.

Yeah, compared to the other passive businesses, the arcade's paltry $5k/day payout is woefully low considering the price of the games. You're not doing anything wrong - just wait for Rockstar to triple it 8 months from now (like Air Freight) and call it fixed.

Yeah, don't fill up the arcade as an investment, do it because you're a completionist psychopath and you must buy everything. If you've got the $10million or whatever it takes to buy all the machines and feel like it, do it, but you're never seeing that back from the arcade alone.

I've been playing the claw game while I watch TV series at my computer occasionally for well over a year and have yet to succeed, if it weren't for the internet I would've assumed it was impossible to win a loooooong time ago. Much like I did with real claw games many years ago.

Keep an adversary in the dark about what you're capable of, and he has to assume the worst.
The arcade scaling is literally the number of arcade machines you can fit, but some of the bigger machines can take up multiple slots and result in you getting less money. There are some big spots where only 1 machine can go so you can put a few in.

Yeah they realized how much of a money faucet it was, so they implemented 4-5 different changes sequentially to make it enough of a pain that it's not really worth chain-running anymore.

Doing a Cayo in 9 minutes solo was really good, especially during the 50% Bonus week they ran not too long after it launched.

The ballistic missiles on unsuspecting pubs are still really funny though

Yeah, running some napkin math it's something like 2 full months of nonstop 24 hour idling, while also emptying the safe every 8ish hours at minimum.

iirc you can just fill the whole arcade up with the same starter game and that'll max out the arcade income, same as if you bought all the individual games.

also hi thread, I wish GTAO was exciting enough for me to want to play it again :sigh:

I got the arcade when it came out just so I could walk into a place with that 80's arcade carpeting. I knew it wouldn't ever be profitable so I didn't bother putting actual arcade machines in until I had 50 million sitting around because I never buy anything in this dumb game. I just log in to grind cheap stuff like stealing cars for export and modifying cars for customers and delivering them because driving around Los Santos is how I relax after everyone goes to bed, but eventually that money adds up if you don't spend it on stuff.
