I like that it gives pro wrestlers some privacy if they want it. That there's no expectation to put all the details of your life out there. They could do more, and start saying, "XYZ is injured at the moment," or "ABC is taking some time to work on a personal project/be with family/take a break," but then you get the pushback asking for details and what specifically it's about, leading into rumour mills. There's some elegance to a hardline, "Yeah, they're not here. They're still signed to us. We won't make further comments," and then leave it up to individual wrestlers how they want to handle it.

Abadon has improved quite a bit in the ring and they've worked with Athena on the indies already, so that's an option for them. Selfishly I want them to dethrone Jade because Jade loves Abadon in real life and would absolutely play along.

I accidentally saw a photo of (supposedly) Abadon without all of the makeup on and the transformation they make is unreal, if it was actually them in the photo. Kind of funny to see them so soft-spoken with the makeup on looking like a creep.

Mad Man Pondo actually talked about this on an early Art of Wrestling episode. He basically had a job getting 'talent' for the Springer show, and used it to get all his weirdo wrestling friends paydays.
