Dash Rendar was classmates with Han Solo at the Imperial Academy, but got kicked out when his brother Stanton Rendar crashed a freighter into Palpatine's museum of Sith artifacts. Stanton died in the crash, but years later Dash would team up with Xizor's realdoll to build a droid replica of his brother that believed it was the real Stanton resurrected in a new body.
