It made her a lot of money and got her started as a comedy tiktoker, and now she's doing poo poo in LA apparently. This interview seems to basically say "it's good and bad because I'm 'kombucha girl' forever but also it has opened up a lot of opportunities for me"

I know that's not exactly what you were asking but I Googled and found this so

She's built an instagram influencer/tiktok celebrity career from that meme, so I imagine she's fine with it.

Read some article a while back about him too. He had no idea and did not care (he lives in Europe somewhere iirc and didn't speak English and didn't use the internet enough to care about memes)

While it doesn't appeal to me, I still find it impressive how he crafted maybe the most singular style of any director. I can't think of any other director that elicits the same kind of 'this is Wes Andersony' feel.

Roy Andersson is 100% another case of this. Very much an acquired taste but I love em.

Found it

Also found some guardian article that says it freaked him out and he was worried it would ruin his life, so I don't know which is true. I choose to believe he doesn't care and is living his best life ignoring us weirdos on the internet

Thanks. Kinda like you said, it's not really the overall effect of the meme I was wondering about but specifically that it was cut. Like a comic strip that gets passed around missing the final panel.

That doesn't really work as they are all still just dressed like priests (except for Mrs Doyle). It just looks like alternate casting

Wes Anderson is long-speculated to be neurodivergent and viewing his oeuvre through that lens is a....very functional one. hth.

As someone who used to do that job I didn't actually care, but you should just do it so that they're not a hazard and so other shoppers can access them more easily.

Not a thing in the US, for the most part. I know the UK at least has you put in a coin to get the cart out so returning it has a material aspect to it, but that's not the case everywhere.

That's the best thing about them.

If I want real people I can go the grocery store.

If I want Cinema I watch a movie.
