Also look, I ended up noping out of the thread because horny furry art ain't my schtick, but also realistically it isn't even the worst offending *type* of thread that gets made on the forums at large. Like gas, give a week, whatever. It isn't like it's a thread about a child harem anime, or a game designed to make you emotionally sick, or filled with people trying to groom or prey on posters. Getting slapped with a "naughty, no, don't do it again" for a week and moving the gently caress on is pretty appropriate as a response because I wasn't personally a fan of it very quickly, but also it's just some loving furry art. This is the forum where we praise the anal gape dude. And (to my knowledge) at least all the characters were even well of age, which puts it above a lot of other poo poo.

Lets face it, applewhite isnt being probed and ths thread gassed for horny posting, hes probed for drawing thinly disguised fetish porn. I think its important to have clarity on that. If were gonna go down some kinda puritanical "no horny at all" its gonna end up killing a lot of tangentially related threads in pyf, comics, and gbs and games, (and probably all of adrtw, lmao) and while it would definately solve the issue i guess but its a pretty wide hammer for a fairly thin issue, And to be honest is a wide enough rule that some mods could use for settling grudges very easily. The thread was gross but was it indicative of some kind of larger issue? No. Gbs, or in fact any of subs, arent hotbeds of creepy wierdos drawing smut. The main issue is that the rules dont explicitly say "dont draw wierd fetish art disguised as something else", which as far as im concerned should probably be forums wide anyway. Personally I would probably add a "no homegrown (including your wierd fetish art)" rule to the gbs thread in light of this so next time it cant get to to this stage. No I'm agreeing, I'm like 99% sure there used to be ex: pyf rear end & they went away for a reason. Imo weird / horny / weird+horny threads can be fine & there have been a lot of good ones, porn threads are GOING to go bad if they last long enough even if they start off completely innocuous.
