AEW cycles people on and off TV so that 1) The fans have a chance to miss them and 2) They don't fill up their bump card too fast Hangman will get a huge pop when he returns to make a save for The Elite and everyone hugs and we get to the Blood and Guts factory.

In general it was just fun to see a lot of western fans who were clearly quite knowledgeable and passionate about the product. The American NJPW shows were good too but you got the sense a lot of the audience hadn't really seen much New Japan. The first Royal Quest was wall-to-wall nerds who were eating it up. They were booing Okada and cheering for Suzuki towards the end of their match, lol
