Don't you tell me my business again.
I listened to the Planet of the Apes episode and they were nitpicking the scene where Taylor is shaving and has shaving cream, wondering how that could be. The apes don't shave and neither do the human slaves

But Taylor was in the medical/surgery area for a while and one of his crew was shown with (I think) a lobotomy scar with a shaved part of his head. I would think the apes would have razors on hand for operations.

LOVED the idea of recasting famous movies with AI apes. Never knew I needed an all ape version of Glen Gary Glenn Ross.

They did the two good Iron Mens as WLMs and unless they dip into Cap 2 or Black Panther (mid af imo) I think that’s probably all the marvel there is to see on that feed.

I'm actually more baffled by Jupin's love for Picard season 3. It's absolutely dog poo poo but a lot of people seem to like it, even the most critical and cynical people I know who are tired of streaming slop.

I think most people who stuck around for Picard were grading on a curve after how poo poo the first two seasons were and this one at least seeming like the writers were at least vaguely aware of TNG helped.

I get this funky high on the yellow sun.

Yeah I would say that more than any of the other seasons you had two VERY hard directions you were pulled in: the “WHO GIVES A gently caress” mystery box with Jack and the “awwww yeah” TNG cast nostalgia and ultimately the TNG stuff is strong enough that you’re left with a net positive sentiment

I appreciated the guys getting into how ridiculous Harold Perrineau's injury is in The Edge and how the film doesn't even seem interested in explaining how that would happen. The Vermont cheese theory is as good as any.

Definitely a nostalgia WLM. Hoping at least one of them read the book and they riff on Bastian turning into a complete rear end in a top hat.

That's a shame because that show was great. People deserve to hear Eric's story about looking outside his hotel window and making eye contact with someone jerking off in their room. Welcome to San Francisco.
