It's a man's game, but boys will play

I swear to God her inappropriate laughs are getting worse. Like some producer told her "people love the giggles, keep doing that", hoping she'd get fired, and the rest of us have to suffer for it

I didn't quite realize what an advantage being from NY would be for Jeopardy, but Manhattan geography and landmarks come up constantly.

I assume the vast amount of media set in New York compared to LA or Chicago draws a heavy bias for the writers. Heaven help the contestants if there's a clue on the Kosciuszko Bridge

i think it’s normal for the host to give the more general answer for viewers who are playing along when the contestant went more specific than they were looking for.

their dynamic really does highlight how goofy the casting for this is, it's "the guy we're constantly reminded went toe-to-toe with ken" versus 5 pretty good players from the last couple years. they couldn't wait two weeks until they get another superchamp? what's jonathan fisher doing?

Speaking of Wheel, Miyam didn't bother me at all on there. Something about the way she is on Jeopardy - nerves? - that I find really annoying, but she seemed more relaxed on Wheel of Fortune.

This would be Jeopardy's 3rd go around with a writers strike following '88 and '07-'08 so I assume they have backup plans. The questions were already written pre-strike at least and I don't see Ken stopping production knowing a couple dozen people wouldn't get paid. Otherwise, someone with no scruples like Dr. Oz would guest host that week.

If the strike continues to linger to start of the start of season taping then it could get strange.
