Regarding the arresting protestors. Well presumably they now charge them with something? And if in the coming days if it transpires they can't then it turns out they were wrong to arrest them and there will need to be consequences for depriving these peeps of a once in a lifetime experience?

lol if you think anyone will be charged. One, it will mean a court case, making it more public, and those charged will be able to show they were standing around doing nothing at the time. Two, they will have to prove they were going to use the rape alarms as weapons. Any emails or whatever from the charged. Three, if they do get charged that means a rape alarm is a weapon now. Four, MET are absolute wank bastards.

It's funny, not funny, that the head of the met was in a select committee or whatever the other day talking to Lee andersen and told him he didn't unstand the law and that you can't just arrest peeps for doing nothing at a protest. Then they did.

They won't be charged. They didn't want people disrupting (read: not politely clapping) the coronation and they've achieved that goal. They'll be released under investigation, probably for months if not years, putting immense stress on them, before receiving a quiet notice that there will be no further action.

Extremely lol that almost no one at all has turned up to the concert events in Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast. They can’t even show crowd shots. The only people in Cardiff when they threw to an OB earlier were a few disaffected youths flicking V signs

If you want to meet your local undercover police officers, basically just start a left wing book club and at least one of the people who turn up will be an undercover cop trying to get people to do something illegal. There are kids fathered by undercover cops who basically got fathered by rape by deception. The UK government's response when it all came out was to retroactively make it legal.
