An example would be finding evidence after searching someone's pockets without properly invoking the statutory power which gives you the right to search them.

I was working in a hotel in Germany at the time (gap year before everyone did them) and a bunch of people who had been on a kibbutz came to work there and I so wanted to go to a kibbutz being a bit of a commie.
