Daddy Daze goes in a different direction for me (baba -> full normal adult translation by the father) so my eyes just slide off it.

Rose Is Rose's terrible baby is also bad, but there's just something about the April FOOBs that grate one me more than that. Can't quite put my finger on what specifically

Wow! Maybe Sid should've told literally anyone about this, including the multiple people who told Mark(and the reader) otherwise. Definitely not rear end-pulled. And was Sid's plan to invite feckless snobs and hope he gets lucky and finds a outdoorsman before the injuries and possible fatalities get him investigated? Pure blind chance?

Thinking about it Mark getting invited to cover an over the top outdoorsmanship contest at a stupid rich guy's toxic machismo money dump could've been a good story that fits the strip. A shame Jules spent 2-3 months not setting that up.

Well, let's see, to start with he hosed up the focal point of the painting by a) not having the little girl in the white dress being a bright spot of a pure color in the sea of dots and b) changing a lot of the other people to having the same color values she does. Diluting her impact.

Secondly the boarder around the image suggests that he just used a photoshop filter to do the stipling rather than learn how to mix colors. .. Although I suppose props for keeping it a light color.

Every single time Allison does a stupid loving comic bullpen joke like this I just lie on my stomach, smile really wide and chuckle while kicking my feet because this is just the lowest hanging fruit and every single time he makes me laugh because he's loving good at it. God loving bless. I'm enjoying the rest of it but I'm a sucker for just a whole page of rapid-fire stupid comics jokes. "Elves! ELVES!" no notes. perfect.
