The authorities lost radar contact with the object around Rypin. When asked about the object by TVN24, the deputy minister for the interior, Błażej Poboży said, "at this stage, I can only confirm this is the second such incident in the last several dozen of hours".

The deputy minister of defence Marcin Ociepa commented, "I would treat this as a provocation from Belarus rather than a genuine attempt at gathering intelligence".

Russians admitting to stealing more children:

WarGonzo forwarded from Anna Kuznetsova posted:

We still took them out and the children and their parents will finally be safe and able to rest!
There is no communication with some villages, and it is extremely dangerous and difficult to get there. There are those who really need help, but it is extremely difficult to do this. Only our soldiers go there. They carry medicines, food, but every day from the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine they fly to residential buildings. Of course, families with children have the hardest time there. Therefore, if there is a connection with the military, then we will arrange for families with children to go on vacation until the acute situation passes.

But there are situations when there is no way ... There is simply no connection, and you can’t get there yourself. About one such territory and talked with Evgeny Poddubny. And he took it and went, brought the necessary information and we were able to start the work! Children with their parents were forced to be transported in small groups, in armored vehicles. There was no question of a bus, even if we wrote “CHILDREN”, the enemy would not care, he would hit the children too ... The road was not close, we drove to Rubizhnoye, whose residents were also helped to leave the territory for a while. It was they who finally dispelled the "horror stories" that were pumped up the people in Ukraine about the "terrible Russians." Before leaving, they talked with their parents: “We were told that they would take you out and you would disappear forever!”
But now it's all over. The children got on the bus and went to rest. The partners of our headquarters, the public organization "Healthy Fatherland" periodically send videos of how children travel, enjoy simple things, including eating normally. And we continue to work and thank everyone who helps!

And some amazing angry cope:

WarGonzo posted:

The hotter it is at the front, the louder the voices from sofas and other high-expert offices. It turned out that everyone around us knows what the Ukrainian offensive should really be like and what it should not be (except for the military correspondents, of course), everyone knows who actually has how much ammunition (except for Prigozhin, of course), but how is it being conducted the work of aerial reconnaissance and how difficult and dangerous it is, and at what distance from the front line is also known to everyone who is engaged in real politics in expensive Moscow restaurants, where analytical calculations are written about the PR campaigns of front-line deputies.

Here voices began to be heard that the new missiles would complicate the work of Sablin and Turchak, who created and ensure the fulfillment of the tasks of the Cascade BARS unit. Like, there is no work at all, and there is no risk, respectively. You never get tired of being amazed at the frank hype-like darkness of these smoothie authors, who can’t even imagine that if the deputies really set themselves the task of promoting themselves in the first place, then social networks would be inundated with videos about their heroic departures.

On the contrary, knowing firsthand what the BARS "Kaskad" does firsthand, we - military correspondents who do not imagine anything in the war - on the contrary, are indignant at the lack of a stream of daily videos from them with the defeat of enemy personnel and equipment, coupled with victorious comments from commanders. The head of the unit, Sablin, is not at all a supporter of publicity (although it would seem that he is a deputy) and believes that intelligence loves silence. It can be understood.

Turchak, by the way, despite making the most adequate report to the president - he himself, with his own feet, walked along the front end in all key directions from Kherson to Svatovo - also does not advertise his attacks in any way. Although there are arrivals not of missiles from somewhere 150 km away, but of a mortar - two thousand meters from enemy positions. They are not interested in proving that they are normal men with eggs, and not smoothie patriots. Because everyone here at the front already knows this. While you are obsessed with calculating ratings, dear experts and political scientists, these people are obsessed with ensuring that the Motherland has a future in principle.

So you would fill up the slurp and say thank you to them, but chip in for an extra drone - from the money that you receive from the curators in order to disperse theses from temniks of extremely dubious competence over the network. Don't be embarrassed. The war will end sooner or later. And we also have a lot of questions. Including you. And to those who pour food into your feeders. You shouldn't multiply them.

Rybar still falling for the attack on Belgorod lmao:

Rybar posted:

Two days ago, the entire Russian Telegram was discussing a possible attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Belgorod from Kharkov . There was a transfer of equipment and demonstration actions along the border.

The Rybar team has been monitoring the situation in the Kharkiv direction for a long time: weekly in “Rybar’s Analysis” on @SolovievLive (https://t.me/SolovievLive) we talk about what is happening south of Belgorod.

The accumulation of personnel and equipment in this area began in the tenth of April: rumors about an attack on Belgorod on May 5 began to spread among the local residents.

Since the beginning of May, equipment has been transferred to the Kharkiv region by echelons, and from May 7 to 16, training camps for personnel are held at the training grounds. There, in the Kharkiv region, 67 ombr, withdrawn from the Soledar direction, were deployed.

In total, there are up to 20 thousand military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 10 thousand members of the territorial defense in the Kharkiv region. They are all pumped up and prepared for the creation of a buffer zone between Kharkov and Belgorod, 15-20 km away.

Yes, a serious group has been created. But now the enemy has concentrated his efforts on demonstration actions to sow panic . This will allow them to stress the population of Russia and provoke Russian troops into active hostilities. According to documents (https://t.me/hackberegini/1479) published by the Beregini hacker group, the task sounds like this:

"The goal is to deter the enemy from carrying out offensive actions from the side of the state border, to create a false idea regarding the composition and deployment of units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, to strengthen the units."

Movement along the state border was imitated by two units, and psychological warfare specialists turned on the ZS-88 sound broadcasting station, imitating the sounds of equipment.

Yes, the option of attacking Belgorod is theoretically possible . If this happens, it will be a sharp increase in the stakes and an escalation in hostilities.

Rybar astonished by the capabilities of the MALD lmao:

What the gently caress is a dummy missile?? posted:

For the second day in a row, strikes are being made on Lugansk . Today, the republic admitted the obvious: the strike was delivered by Storm Shadow missiles.

In yesterday's report from the field, an amazing thing (https://t.me/milinfolive/100566) was mentioned: a fake missile crashed into a building, air defense did not react to it. Perhaps the result of such a strange hit was the work of electronic warfare, but in general, this does not sound very good - especially taking into account the fact that Storm Shadow got to the target.

Today, an object in Yubileiny was struck. Storm Shadow missiles were used again. And spend them on reconnoitered and known military purposes.

Having opened Google maps, where Maxar images for 2023 were uploaded (as we remember, Google stopped hiding Russian military facilities since last year), we will see accumulations of military equipment in the vicinity of the affected object. You can see everything on the screenshot.

We fuckin told you so posted:

So, in connection with the already repeated unhindered enemy missile strikes using Storm Shadow missiles, we want to officially send a big hello to all those who just a couple of days ago were engaged in telling self-soothing fables about how we can and will shoot everything down.

We hope that one day you will learn to think with your own head, and not run ahead of the locomotive and engage in hat throwing, when you have not even seen the capabilities of the enemy’s new weapon in person. This has happened before with HIMARS, and now it's happening again with Storm Shadow.

We wrote about the dangers and features of this missile, as well as why it is difficult for air defense systems to hit it, in this publication. (https://t.me/milinfolive/100506)

The original phrasing was мы впереди паровоза (my vperedi parovoza) and literally means "ahead of the locomotive", but the colloquial meaning is closer to "don't get ahead of ourselves"

"throwing your hat" is a colloquialism similar to a decision made out of desperation, like tearing shirts is used to express despair and dismay.

I'll try to keep those context clues intact for future translations (I am also looking forward to fatherboxx coming in here to tell me why i'm wrong, every time he shows up and corrects me I'm grateful for learning something new or being corrected on something I was taught)

It is still unknown whether this is blue-on-blue (red-on-red?) or Ukrainian strikes.

An interesting possiblity is that after the Patriot site came online in Kyiv, they moved one of the S-300 batteries that formerly protected it right up to the border. All the targets shot down were flying high enough that a S-300 radar placed cheekily on a hill should be able to paint them and get hits ~50km away. If they did this, it will end soon, because the S-300 battery near the border would be really vulnerable and either Russians take it out with a Lancet or something, or Ukraine moves it back out to protect it.

It seems like it would be way too risky to put an S300 there just for a chance of taking out a helicopter or two 100 km away.

The friendly fire explanation makes way more sense to me, they were just making GBS threads themselves over the Storm Shadow and decoys and got very trigger happy.

So, two Mi-8s, one Su-34, and probably another Su-25 are lost.

Let me remind you that quite recently, literally, for days, individual citizens informed us that the military correspondents were aggravating the situation, that there was no offensive, that the situation was normal, the enemy’s activity was standard.
And the military correspondents, they say, hurried with their assessments.

So it wasn't they who hurried, it's just an indicator that you can't live in the past and think in terms of yesterday.

The modern offensive is not thousands of tank columns, led by General Von Bock with a monocle. It is exactly like that.
Lugansk yesterday, a blow to our Air Force today. Feeling the defense. Where it breaks. And strikes on the rear, infrastructure and aviation.

They said on the air a hundred times and wrote - the enemy has air defense, the enemy may have a weak air force, but long-range missiles will replace it.
There is no need to panic now. Conclusions must be drawn. Especially for those who believe that flight routes should not be changed so that the documents are not rewritten. Yes, there are.

Well, you need to prepare for the offensive even more seriously. Here it is, creepy.
