After having recently earned my promotion from Juryo I've been watching since Jan '22 thanks to Lid in the auspol discord but haven't  ed until now, I am looking forward to my debut in the top Makuuchi division in July. So I snuck into the lower seats during baby sumo and imma be honest, I think I prefer the view from the S-tier arena seats to the floor seats. If I wanted to stretch my legs I think I’d opt for the box seats near the back, at least, so you’re a little above the action.

Day 1: Fun day, even though there were no upsets. My boy Hoshoryu lucky he didn't have to face Takayasu, I hope he gets back strong though. Other than that, I didn't expect Takakeisho to win in such fashion. Terunofuji outmuscled by Shodai (who isn't) but nice technique at the end.

Day 1: Oh noooooooooo-dai Lots of good matches day 1. I had a good laugh at Shodai looking in control right until Teru got leverage and yeeted him out of the ring. There was some great defense on the edge by Hiradonoumi, and Ura's match was great.

Abi reminds me of a cartoon character the way his legs kinda flail under him as he advances. Too bad this time he slipped before getting anything going.
