The circumstances around this are extremely cursed (sick children) but the way humanity can come together to help in ultra-specific situations like this is extremely blessed. A very sick girl's wish is to "be a mermaid" and a caretaker went to the internet to ask if there were any VR apps that could help fulfill the wish. It doesn't seem like there was anything quite right off the shelf, but app developers who saw the tweet pretty much immediately got to work making things very quickly to help out. Does anyone know the etymology of the word pisili (which from context I guess directly translates to cat)? It'd rule if the reason cats respond so well to pspsps is because for thousands of years we've been giving them names with ps sounds in them. Does puss come from pisili?
