My only lasting Jinder memory is that I went to a house show and they did Nakamura and Orton vs. Jinder and Dolph and halfway through the match, Jinder grabbed a mic and did his "I WILL NOW CUT A PROMO IN PUNJABI FOR MY INDIAN PEOPLE " bit, but 1) The sound was horrible so I couldn't understand a loving word he was saying in either English or Punjab. 2) Bro, it's a house show in Detroit. I had already mostly stopped watching but still had a modicum of something for the company since I had watched it for so long. A guy at work told me Jinder had won and it was such a joke it killed the territory for me, brother. Aside from catching some ROH now and then I was absolutely out of keeping up with pro wrestling until Sting showed up in AEW.
