here's a song that I think people will like in here because it's some good techno but also the title of the song is "signing your own post"

This is kind of a companion album to The Ocean's Holocene, and you can recognise some of the themes, but it's all dark synthy cyberpunk end of the world stuff.

My gf is trying to find a song to set her compilation video of an Interrail trip we are doing to. I suck at music stuff, so have not been able to help much, and it's driving her crazy. Any suggestions? It needs to be upbeat and have grandma safe lyrics (or non-english lyrics). Something that isn't overwhelming and not annoying to listen to. Not vampire weekend because I find them very annoying but they're close.

Why not something thats meant to be innocuous and in the background? I find that actual music with lyrics, especially pop music distracts a ton from the video. YMMV, to each their own, etc, etc

E: I missed the "upbeat" part, but same point, I guess

I was talking to a person at work about how I make
electronic music for fun in my own time but I don’t listen to much I tend to listen to metal and occurred to me to try to find some aggressive edm because that’s what I love about thrash and found a few “aggressive edm” playlists and drat that poo poo is fun

why do you do that weird line break thing tho

like is that intentional or do you just not worry about typing on a phone

unironically curious

yeah I just accidentally hit return rather than space ( it happens a LOT) and especially if it coincidentally happens where a word wrap would happen (in the typing window on the phone) sometimes I don’t even notice I’ve done it until I post and I sometimes just don’t care enough to fix it

if I notice it when typing I tend to fix it but it happens so often lol I just don’t catch it every time

Do you have a Soundcloud account? it's pretty good for finding / listening to electronic music in whatever niche. I wouldn't use it for individual tracks but there's a lot of mixes on there and then you don't get ads.

my favorite recent albums of his are moosebumps and space goretex

I think one of the things about his recent work is he produces a lot of his own stuff now which is cool but he has exactly one sound. most of his best stuff is working with specific producers, like octagynecologist [automator], first come, first served [kutmasta kurt], project polaroid [tomc3], etc.
