If there's a character that fits my playstyle perfectly but I dislike their character design, then I'm never going to play them. If I'm going to play a character I need to think that what they're doing is cool, because doing cool things is the whole point of the fighting games for me.

I don't really think there should be A face of a game like this, definitely not how they're doing it with 6. Putting a picture of Just Luke on the box really does a disservice to all the great new characters this game has to offer, they really could have done a better job.

Has Capcom stated precisely what is included in each of the three versions of the game? The year 1 character pack is straightforward. Beyond that, there's costumes and maps, but have they said exactly what costumes & for which characters, and what maps?

I think Zoomer Luke is mostly a meme that exists because of the presence of Boomer Ryu + is played up by his voice actor/the fanart. Rashid had the social media obsession and fake Twitter account and it never took off as much.

I’m starting to think that the decision to use an encouraging gym bro to introduce basic fighting game mechanics was kind of genius… Hundreds of thousands of people are gonna think fondly of Luke a decade from now I can feel it already.

Anyone in Europe, how was the netcode during the beta? I remember a lot of talk about how V was okay later in its life but it pretty much always shat the bed for us in the UK when we tried to give it a whirl.
