If it’s the one with a guy pushing a scaffolding beneath a set of power lines and his buddies standing there horrified as he burns to ashes from the feet up, it’s been posted in several previous iterations of this thread and probably this one too.

Seth Edit: bruh gonna spoiler this

the one i saw had four guys holding on to the scaffolding when it hit the wire. their hands locked up so they could't release the metal. one guy slipped off but the rest just stayed locked in place until their arms pulled off their bodies.

genuinely could we ask for spoiler tags for descriptions of gore and snuff

like if you could reasonably expect it to be an accurate alt-id tag, its good enough to get the picture, and if the picture would be spoiler tagged anyway....

edit: vvv nothing stopping you from adding your own spoiler tags to the snuff/gore; like im not saying dont post im saying post mindfully vvv

it's always good to remind ourselves to be aware of overhead hazards when carrying metal ladders or other conductors, and also that electricity is a real sneaky jerk and you should never trust it. i was replacing a 240volt baseboard heater several months ago and i couldn't find my pen tester anywhere so i just shrugged and turned the breaker off. only i didn't turn the breaker off, i thought about turning the breaker off, and my brain said, "yeah i remember we just did that," and i went on my merry way unwiring and rewiring the heaters with the 240v circuit all spicy and i didn't find out until i went to turn the breaker back on and then suddenly felt all peculiar

maybe it was the work of a would-be assassin!

"Material that is unfit for use is the cause of many accidents"

Pre-ww2 dutch OSHA posters, advertising the Safety Museum of Amsterdam. The little red creatures are electricity monsters. They bite fiercely!

I love how that one electricity monster is just casually chilling on the line.

"Just one touch!
Monsters are lurking on electric conductors!
Visit the safety museum.
Hobbemekade (address), Amsterdam"

"A monster lurks at every worn out spot of an electric cable or work light. Use proper work lights and cables!"
(i can't find this one in high res sadly)

"A LETHAL DANGER, and that's why they are prohibited.
Outdoors electric conductors may not be mounted in reachable places"

"Danger lurks on bare wires"

Painting was a pretty drat dangerous job i guess, seeing that multiple of these posters focus around painting near bare conductors running to a house or on a roof.

There are many others, also about other safety factors like carbon monoxide. You can find them with google image seach using the term Poster Veiligheidsmuseum Amsterdam.

"Open windows and doors before starting your engine. Exhaust gases are lethal!"

Depends. It might be possible. It's gonna be a lot safer and more likely to work using a non-conductive stick to pry them off the thing. Or even better kill the power to the thing.

The problem is that if you do it wrong and don't get them completely loose in an instant, there are now two people getting electrocuted and you're one of them.

kill the power? you mean like whip out my trusty Electrician's Revolver and shoot the wire full of positron bullets to annihilate the electrical hazard?

You can take a broomstick or 2x4 and try to push the person away. Of course you have to be prepared for this, and if you're taking the time to prepare maybe you can figure out if you really need to work on live circuits or not.
