They've been firing Soviet made missiles for a year and have no significant domestic production volume due to reliance on now embargoed foreign tech and a massively depressed domestic industry. Where are the Su-57s, T-14s, but we see hacked together t-55s with 75 year old naval guns welded on to them being fielded

I keep thinking about building a small relay computer (I mean, basically a calculator) because it sort of forces you to consider how magical it all is when you see it being done on a human timescale and get a better idea of how many steps are going on to produce a trivial result. but I'm torn between not wanting to just buy one (assuming anyone sells them) because that's comparatively lame, and recognizing how much effort it is to design when that's not actually my wheelhouse. idk

Biden had been against continuing the Afghan Occupation since the Obama Administration, so it probably shouldn't have been too surprising that he'd tell the media to pound sand after the withdrawal. Trump would have absolutely reinvaded the minute a general told him he'd look weak on television, probably with a ton of air strikes specifically for B-Roll.

Well after the recent oil refinery attack I would surmise that the United States is much more inclined to give a free hand to Ukraine to assault Russian assets inside of russia. I believe that Putin at this point has exhausted his use of the threat of nuclear weapons. Line break as oil is the last remaining industry of Russia the attacks on refineries and oil terminals will actually incur a significant amount of damage, coupled with the attacks on the Russian called Beverly hills unquote. Both of these are meant to sway the only opinion that matters which is the oligarchs and bourgeois class of russia. Has their money and resources come from oil and these will have a real serious effect on their outcomes. Especially their favorability towards a president who is literally fumbling the bag as it were

A seemingly obvious answer, which is purely a guess, is lack of launchers. They only have so many available launch platforms in operation at once and aircraft need lots of maintenance to keep flying.

To stress on gas, the expectation I heard in the UK is that prices will actually go negative in some regions (for a short period of time).

The Dutch gas prices are the ones to watch because they're a hub and brokers for all of Europe. Right now there is a lot of supply, and not a lot of demand. Gas stores are at pretty high levels and close to being filled, and once they are full demand will fall off a cliff completely and prices can go negative.

Scam Likely posted:Renewables own and are way better than gas, much like the content that fills Putin's adult Pull-Ups. Renewables and gas are complementary, not competing. You need to be able to match the production to the demand, and neither wind nor solar does that in Europe. The solution to reducing CO2 emissions is to build a lot of renewables, and then burn gas when there's no wind and the sun doesn't shine. In the long run, that gas might be hydrogen that was electrolyzed when there was excess wind, but for now it has to mostly mean natural gas. At least the projects for massive water splitting are finally being started. The only other reasonable alternative is nuclear. Neither batteries nor pumped storage can be expanded to anywhere near the amounts required. But until mass scale electrolysis is reality, building more renewable production means burning more gas, as it displaces coal (and nuclear, if you are stupid) baseline production and needs adjustable production on top.

You don't need a refinery for that, just pump it to the terminal. Hitting refineries is probably more aimed at hurting domestic supplies of refined fuels and lubricants and damaging the war effort/economy that way rather than directly impacting exports. I have no idea whether there's enough refineries within droning range for that to make much of a difference though.

So the building with the blue roof: - is adjacent to an administration building - doesn't "look like" an apartment building. Ergo it is an administration building? For all I know it is housing Russia's nuclear codes, but this just seems like motivated reasoning.
