Funny thing is that it's actually a pretty decent article, but some idiot slapped a dumb headline on it (generally speaking that's not the same person as whoever wrote the article).

Not so funny is the fact that the article is very much correct, that this is the worst industrial-environmental disaster in Europe since Chernobyl, and honestly it's probably going to be way worse than Chernobyl (and worse than whatever would happen if the Zaporozhie nuclear plant were to fail) in terms of the death toll and the ecological and economic damage wrought.

I suspect the headline is deliberate as a form of viral marketing. People reposting it for "look at this stupid headline" are still spreading the article and getting them clicks.
