The opening and the latest trailer seem to imply that Lois and Jimmy will figure out Clark’s secret fairly early on (or at least I hope so anyway) As for villains, Brainiac already has a confirmed VA, this is a Superman series so I assume we’ll get a Luthor of some kind, and what looks to be an Eradicator is present at the end of the opening

That Fatal Five movie was weird, seeing Justice league unlimited coming back from the dead 15 years later with more violence and cursing. Would have been cool if they’d continued with those characters. Was the Martian girl in anything else in this timeline? Is young Justice canonical to the DCAU? Other than Batman Ninja I have not been able to get through any other recent (ie past 10 years) DC animated movie. I got 5 minutes into red hood before the bad joker turned me off. Long Halloween just reminded me how much better the comic was. Superman vs the elite was just weird. Justice league dark had terrible animation.

You might like Gods and Monsters, it's Timm/Dini art but a different (darker) timeline where Zod is Superman, Kyle Langhouse is Batman and Artemis is Wonder Woman. Has some of the charm of the original Diniverse stuff.

The two DC animated movies that surprised me the most on how quality they are are Gods & Monsters and the Justice Society World War II movie. (Well, I could've done without the dumb Atlantis invasion of NYC at the end).)

Gotham By Gaslight is actually pretty good once you accept it has almost nothing to do with the comic of the same name aside from both having the basic plot of "Batman fights Jack The Ripper" The Dark Knight Returns is probably overall the best of the DC animated films that's directly based on an existing comic though, probably because due to splitting it into two parts for its initial release meant it was given enough time to properly adapt the original comic(while it does change around a few things most of those are minor and overall good changes) unlike say New Frontier's adaptation which had to chop out a lot of stuff(was still good mind you and it does do a couple little things better than the source material) Man what I would give to see an adaptation of The Dark Knight Strikes Again though, that would just be insane in all the best ways
