Some cursory Googin' suggests "low 7/high 7" refers respectively to the first and second halves of 7th grade, for example. I honestly thought the curse was "homemaking" alongside "citizenship"

That was my first thought, but I took Home Econ and Civics in junior high in the 2000s and I assume schools still have them today.

Probably a heading for "Manual Training" and then you write in what the specific subjects are because, as you say, they are probably determined by your gender. Guys would have got woodworking instead of homemaking, or something like that.

There is no reason for a spider to go into a fly trap, this was done intentionally. Honestly, why are y'all so terrified of spiders? they're a better pest control than a raft of Venus fly traps, plus they're loving gorgeous.... Seriously, all you single guys could be so lucky.

Had severe arachnophobia as a young fella thanks to a couple of incidents of big rear end huntsmans falling/jumping onto me. Got over it in my early 20s by living in a house with an insane black house spider population, eventually ended up naming the ones in the areas I spent most my time in. They were really cool to watch do their thing. Hunstman spiders can still gently caress off though, it's the way they move
