cjs: Noticed our 403/Forbidden page wasn't showing up and worried it was from my current upgrade to Spring Boot 3.1. Nope, it was like that in 3.0…and 2.7…and ever since February 2022, when we upgraded to 2.6 lol

a friend of mine was really into wrestling back in high school. i remember going to his place once and watching all kinds of japanese wrestling tapes. the last time i talked to him, he is now a referee for some wrestling company in toronto. not as a career, but as an outside of work thing.

current 11 day weekend status: 1. it has begun 2. little jones and i will be flying to the midwest/south tomorrow without ms jones. her shoulder is frozen (apparently 'frozen shoulder' is a real medical diagnosis, lol at that name) and she's in a lot of pain. so she will hang out with poodle jones and recuperate while we visit my family and all we'll miss her but it's gonna be a fun trip

also massive ups to my boss, tech lead, and the people on the project i'm on. ms jones was at the doctor this morning, it was getting on towards when i'd need to leave to walk to little jones's school to pick him up (we only have one car), and I'm like "yall i need to leave in half an hour to get the kid, might not be back, sorry that planning isn't done, please take care of it" and everybody's like "it's fine, go go go go go, you are setting a good example by taking care of family first" for real yall, im super lucky to be in the org im in. especially when i see what folks like pollyanna have to deal with on the regular

there was a channel at that little startup that was for "life updates" and all the tryhards were constantly posting `Need to go pick up my kid from dialysis, will be AFK for 25-30 mins but available via Pagerduty` when it was like 8:30 pm local time for them it was so loving gross
