There's a great line like that in 2000 video game Sacrifice, where a character who's basically Satan is trying to convince you to switch sides, and he says something like "join me, and I will grant you more power than you can imagine!". You get a yes/no dialogue box (you legit can go and join Satan if you want to), and if you pick "no" your character says "I don't know. I can imagine quite a bit", to Satan's confusion and outrage.

Great game.

Sacrifice was just absolutely chock full of amazing lines. In another exchange the same god has "Let me assure you, I do not want to destroy the world! That's where all the best slaughter happens." and the voice actor delivers it with such perfect hurt indignation at the idea that he might ever be that short-sighted.

Ha, yeah Charnel was great too, but I was actually referring to Pyro as Satan. Charnel was a surprisingly upstanding guy, actually very lucid and reasonable despite the bluster. Pyro was the real monster. Like, if you play Charnel's missions he turns out to be a lot more reasonable than he likes to project, while if you play Pyro's the game gives you several opportunities to go "actually, this is hosed up" and defect.

poo poo, I think I need to reinstall it.

same, we need a remastered version or a game inspired by it. Too many good ideas in that.

I was like "hmm, do I remember this particular commercial?" and then was able to name the next song with 100% accuracy, so I'd say yes.
