The garbage in the towns in old fall out was made by the inhabitants. The garbage in new fallout is from prewar and kinda like is the town like the people just live in it like its not weird

Okay kids, gather ‘round and listen to me reminisce about Fallout. I bought the first one blind and drat that was good luck! However I suck at games and this was too hard for me. The time limit especially was annoying. Then FO2 came around and it was much better. I remember emailing with a russian modder to fix the trunk of the car so I could actually use it. Good times. FO3 was great, I felt the transition to 3d was well made. I went into NV with great expectations because of the raving reviews. But it sucked so much. Caesars stupid army always took me out of it, what a terrible storyline. Oh and I want fries with that.

I got Fallout 3 on my 360 when it came out (I picked it there instead of PC dunno why) and had fun with it. Once I learned about mods and fixes I got it on PC plus DLC. New Vegas on PC was super fun with just a few fixes, I only modded the camera for my first playthrough, lots of crashing tho, same with FO3. I'd play the poo poo out of NV on my Series if they ever put the DLC on sale even with all the bugs. It's a shame that Todd knows that it's the best modern Fallout and won't remaster/rerelease it.

Oh weird, Cyberpunk's next update in preparation for the DLC it seems will revoke its "Smart Delivery" status, at least as far as save games go. The beefy 1.7 or whatever update should be landing in September some time (possibly not until the day the DLC is actually out) and at that point if I'm understanding things right, save transferring will become a one-way affair (you'll be able to bring games from XB1 to Series but not vice versa).

The Series version will effectively be updating to the point of being a new game, while the XB1 version will not (they already stated the XB1 and PS4 versions were more or less frozen outside of maybe a bugfix or two, but given how long it's been since 1.61 I think that might be the final version). When saving on the Series version of the game you specifically get a warning that if you want to load it on the XB1 version it needs to be the same version (or newer, if somehow your Series version has a lower update than when you load it on XB1). This won't be possible anymore when September comes along. Anyone else get unsuccessful sign in notifications all the time? I don't think my password has been compromised, because they all have the wrong password but I get like 3 2fa codes a day from random assholes around the world trying to log into my account. I changed it anyways but I don't think it's going to do anything. really annoying.

It's not too unusual, tons of games nowadays will tell you that updating your game will make your saves incompatible with older versions. Which in this case means the xb1 version since it will no longer recieve updates.
