You're most likely correct. Hager appeared at the end of the first episode of Dynamite when the Inner Circle was formed. He was then most likely officially introduced on the second so I'd assume that it was then when it happened. Thinking about it, there aren't many things that have carried over that weren't WWE creations. Danielson only gets Yes'd during kick spots. Cole was doing the Bay Bay thing before WWE. Miro doesn't get Rusev/Miro Day chants. They all feel like their own thing.

Darby Allin could use that, honestly, he's pretty good on the mic but a few times recently he's done promos that are getting good reactions and he just steps on the pop in a really defensive way like he thinks the cheers are sarcastic.

AJW stuff is way more intense and violent than I'd expected when I first started watching it. Like, a lot of modern wrestling can't compare to it. There's a weird visceral emotion in some of those big matches that's hard to find anywhere else.
