Read After Burning posted:For some reason I remembered one of the two games having 'em, but I think I'm confusing it for the change in the battle system itself (first game was turn based, and I think the sequel was ATB)? Either way, excellent! The main thing I remember is that (mechanics spoiler, I guess?) item cards in your inventory were affected by time, so a 'food' card could like, rot and turn into a new card. They are both real time, the first game just has an annoying upgrade system. At first it's turn based, but the moment you upgrade your hand size it adds a time limit to selecting your cards and you get less and less time to use your cards with each further upgrade.
