eh. it's far from the worst concept car rendering i've seen. most of the lines go places, it's not covered in pointless folded metal, and it's small and generally well-proportioned. do i need to repost the gm concept trucks from a few pages ago? i'd say it's currently fine and with a couple more iterations it might even be attractive.

orange juche posted:That A-pillar would like to have a word oh who cares. concept cars aren't about safety. it's about creating a idealized look that you later refine into something that meets all the regulations. the windshield might have to be changed but for the concept purposes it works. same thing as high fashion. nobody is going to be wearing clothes made of broken glass and peacock feathers and whatnot, but you'll see elements of those shapes and colors and patterns in the designer's eventual production work.

I have a question about this, is there some aerodynamic advantage to squaring the wheel arches? It looks like every single car has a flat portion around the wheel well now, from every brand.
