Yeah my dad was court ordered to pay a pretty penny in alimony to my mom when they divorced and just didn’t fight it at all And then proceeded to pay a small percentage of it based on vibes and then stop paying it whatsoever at a whim. What were we gonna do, sue him? He probably didn’t have it anyway. She worked him through his law degree and stayed home to raise the kids and do all the housework and church stuff. But she only gets half of what he’ll get through social security, because nobody values the work she did.
