I know he's going to get away with it without any trouble at all, but my heart tells me this plan might be a bit too clever for its own good.

Going to take a short break from doubleposting now that Hogback Saga is caught up. Haven't decided what to post next - I could pick Hyouge Mono or the Dragon, the Hero and the Courier again, or maybe I could post something like Larry Gonick's Cartoon History of the Universe. Oh right, I was thinking of posting Cooking Papa at some point, what little that is available. Anyway, the other thing:

Shinozaki's Daily Maintenance

I love Fuka, he's so loving pumped to do his book report. Next time: the Noodle Incident, at long last.

Now that we know this is a possibility, it is a narrative necessity that someone get donked up.

I might post it as well anyway, but I went digging around my drive and found this 4 volume series: Japan Tengu Party Illustrated. I'm not going to try to provide a synopsis, but do these covers look like they'd be on something you'd like to read? I'm addressing the thread in general here.

I also mix up my curry and rice, and manners be damned. (The gaijin advantage helps - much is overlooked for me that wouldn't be for a Japanese-looking person.) It's the only way to be sure you won't end up with a little bit more of one or the other.
