Why in the world would you even bother "protest voting" if it's for someone who doesn't even share your political views (though tbh it's also goofy and pointless even if they do share your views)? I don't think electoral politics really matters but I'm wrong about a bunch of stuff so for me the correct position is if it's trivially easy for you to vote then vote for the most popular third party candidate whose vaguely left, because maybe in 50 years there might be a credible third party. Probably pointless, but a slim chance it's not.

me personally I want to see the American state's ability to project power overseas collapse I don't care too much about it's domestic situation relative to that.
That's probably the quickest path to healthcare and housing though.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have posted that. I forgot this is the general election. You're right, he has to appeal to both American "socialists" and liberals. He also said a lot of good things in that interview. He's a better, more current, more cogent and more electable candidate than Biden that's for sure.
