Didn't WCW always tape Thunder before Nitro so they'd be referencing angles that hadn't happened yet?

No. They didn't tape them together until 2000 when they were deep into cost cutting.

They would film episodes of Lucha Underground before the season started airing. Vampire would explain the angles to the live audience before the tapings.

It's like goldy or bronzy, but made of iron.

Mick Foley has a story about a WCW TV taping where he heard Paul Orndorff and Paul Roma cutting a promo where they say they beat Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan for the tag titles. At that point Foley and Sullivan hadn't actually won the titles yet

This kind of stuff was really common at the time. Wwe would do stuff like tape 4 episodes of raw at once, but not in order for some reason so guys would come out with the belt, then come out later to wrestle the match in which they won it.

And as one might imagine, going to a multi-hour 'TV taping' was usually a miserable experience that lasted well into the night. Just once was enough to even cure my young and dumb self.

Douche Baggins
Seeing some funny takes about how the ladder/table spot at MITB was "different" from the Sting bump because, you see, Sting is old.

WWE stans: "A near 40-year veteran of the business doesn't know what he's doing in the ring."
Also WWE stans: "This Youtuber definitely knows what's up."

The other side of that coin is "yes, it's a dumb spot that could get people paralyzed, but it's not on free TV!" implying that a paralysis would be fine as long as you paid to watch it.

Sting looked exactly like a 60 year old dude jumping on two tables. Idk what’s the fuckin comparison.

And the mercy seat is awaiting,
And I think my head is burning,
And in a way I'm yearning,
To be done with all this measuring of proof.
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth,
And anyway I told the truth,
And I'm not afraid to die.

A Holm type squash in modern terms is a tepid 25 decision

I'd rather just see Maika wrestle a competent opponent. But I suppose wrestling Ronda would give her some rub, she's still a big name despite everything

On the other hand, imagine Big Bang Theory with a non-stop wall of roaring fake laughter for the entire episode. Like every single second, regardless of what is happening or if a joke is being told.
