there are probably regulations against running generators indoors, even with the doors open/ventilation. they really should have removed the back panel from that case tho

the videos are filmed weeks if not months in advance so I dunno if it's related to the official change in title. but the new CEO was in his tryout period when these were filmed so maybe the workload had already shifted?

Them just walking around that death trap with nothing but eyeglasses to protect themselves was freaking me out way too much and I turned it off before they even used it on the computer. Seems incredibly careless and stupid to do something like that without putting some ballistic panels around it or something.

Why do some car reviewers on youtube (Doug DeMuro, Out of Spec reviews, seen others too) all have the same pose in their thumbnails with the arms out, elbows bent, palms up? I cannot unsee this now. It's just weird.

Demuro was the first one I saw doing that and it became his thumbnail thing, he’s been doing that as his thumbnail style since he started Youtube, and since he’s a big channel everyone else started copying him to get mistake clicks. This is also why you see a bunch of tech channels (I noticed Hugh Jeffries is doing this quite shamelessly) copying Dankpods’ thumbnail style. James gets a pass because he’s a mate.

Ahh that makes the most sense if it was just one popular guy's affectation and then got copied.. Just really was strange to look at the page with all the videos and see them ALL like that. Really weird.

Gamers Nexus did a test with the game Stellaris but I'm not sure what they mean by turn here. It's a pausable RTS where the smallest ticks are one day, so maybe they decided a turn is 100 days at the fastest speed, or something like that?
