I didn't watch the game, (or any AFL this year) but looking at the score in comparison to previous weeks, it kinda feels like that should be marked down as a loss to St Kilda on principle.

Watching the hawks vs giants game in a bar in Sapporo. Strangely noone else here gives less of a poo poo about yhe strange game the foreigner in the corner is watching. I would have assumed James Sicily and Toby Greene would attract more of s crowd in Hokkaido. But you live and learn.

No Mundy and losing Lobb, Acres, and to a lesser extent Logue, Tucker and Meek, put us in that the same average games as the Hawks as the start of the year. It’s ended up with Freo being more inconsistent than last year, exacerbated by Fyfe and Walters going in and out of the team with injury

I listened to the Dyl & Friends episode with Hardwick and it is very clear that he still wants to coach. I think it's a great fit if they want to go down that path. Gold Coast have talent there now, and a bunch of strong academy talent coming through this year. I would think that Hardwick is a good attraction for free agents or players wanting trades too.

Yeah I’d be baffled if Longmuir was given the chop. Inexperienced side, as I mentioned, that got bashed around in the mid-field on the weekend as we don’t have any big bodies in there anymore after 10 years of Mundy and Fyfe.
