One of the local agency owners lives in my street. I have busted him dropping his poo poo in my letterbox while he power walks around the neighbourhood. I dashed out and yelled at him "hey dickhead, no junk mail" and handed him back his flyer. The confused look on his face was less than satisfying. We haven't had any more from that agency since then but it hasn't stopped the other half dozen around town.

The other day one of them had a hand written note dropped in ours, well looked hand written, I didn't look too hard at it and binned it the moment I realised it was from a realator. Any of you lot ever get the letters from them that are like "we're looking for a house for a famill;(insert sob story) and your house meets all their needs, have you considered selling?'

Some real estate oval office in Bulimba had it in their database somehow that I own property in that suburb, they cold called me once every six months or so to check if I wanted to sell. Telling them I was under 40 so there's no way I own a house, let alone in Bulimba, didn't make them update their records but a 1-star Google review got a grovelling apology and they never called again.

I'll admit their magnets are pretty useful. I stick printed labels onto them, cut them up and use them on the steel drawers in my workshop. I love the idea of collecting them and taking them back. Hell I'll even wrap them up nicely with a bow and add a note "with love and seething hatred, (my address)".

I'd reincarnate those impossibly soft jelly babies dusted in icing sugar, they used to be for sale in the food court of David Jones when I was a little kid. I can remember my Nanna buying them for me and I think they were sold by weight as they'd come in a paper bag. I'm pretty sure they existed, although I don't think I've ever seen them as an adult. They were really yummy though!
