I am sure that Israel Adesanya has mentioned doing juju at some point or another, but I am also sure that at the time he was talking about the magic system in some obscure anime and not any real world spiritual belief system

There was an update that I've now lost saying that Francis is making 8 figures for the Fury fight, not 8 million. The whole thing really should have pulled the wool from a lot of people's eyes with regard to how poo poo the UFC actually can be at business. There's some quote from White that 'well, he wants to go take easy fights in boxing for more money' and it's like 'wait, that's an option for your HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION? To make more money in the lower tier of a different sport? And that isn't indicative of a problem with your approach? You point this out and you get 'well, Francis wasn't a draw' to which the obvious reply is 'Dana is the promoter.' And if you can't make someone like Francis, the absolute platonic ideal of an easily promotable heavyweight fighter, a draw, what the gently caress are you doing in the business? And, if he isn't a draw, why is now signed for an insane amount of money for a sport he's never fought in before?

You know that guy from tekken who has that move that will do like 90 percent of the opponents life gauge if they're stupid enough to hang out in range of the longest animation in fighting games? That is the only thing I can think of more focussed and deliberate than that absolutely epic crime against genitals.
