My Health app is using 1.65 GB for documents and data. Is this just going to grow forever? No idea what is using the space, maybe all the running workout data? Oh wait, it is broken down but baffling…

I'm happy that Apple decided to show full album artwork on the lock screen now in 16.6. They should have done that a long time ago. Now if they could only fix my main issue with Apple Music is when I say I don't like a song to never play it again on my station. But it's still happening.

However, if you want to roll it back to iOS16 and want to restore a backup, the backup would have be on 16.

I should also mention that you cannot 'update' from 17 to 16. It needs to be a full wipe/restore to 16. This also goes for all their other operating systems.

trying to switch over from Android to iOS, and having an annoying issue where my number appears as if it were someone else in almost every single chat. For example: group chats list out everyone else plus my phone number, and 1-on-1 chats appear as a three-person chat, listing the other person and my own phone number as the other people. It's really weird because the duplicate being displayed has my exact phone number (double checked that they were identical). It's an annoying issue because I feel like I can't respond to any 1 on 1 texts without turning them into group chats that include two of myself?... Tried googling the issue but google sucks unimaginably now - the issues that come up are similar but different ones. Any advice?...

Have you poked around in Settings > Messages? You can choose to send/receive iMessages to your phone number, or Apple account. I have a feeling there may be something amiss there? Free yourself, click the option in settings to delete a message after 1 year. Or 30 days if you truly want to be unencumbered.

Press and hold on what you want moved down into “more” and drag it to the bottom of the screen and I’ll pull it down into that sub menu. Likewise press and hold on what you want moved up or rearranged and drag them around.

For me it suggests and autocorrects to quantity when I type wuantity, so you might want to try resetting your dictionary or something.

I replaced the battery (was <80% capacity) on my 12 mini about a month ago because it was losing charge pretty quickly and was often warm to the touch. Still having the problem a month later with the new apple store replaced battery. It drops from 100% to 70% in 2 hours overnight while doing nothing! New battery is 100% capacity. Literally no data in the battery usage section for those 2 hours. I cleared out a bunch of space by offloading photos, iOS updated, turned off Bluetooth, stopped sharing my location, turned off background app refresh, literally everything I can think of to improve battery performance. Is it time to just factory reset and set up as a new device? Anyone else have this problem and that fixed it?
