I don't see why they're doing that procedure, just stuff him into a shirt/sweater/hoodie/baby wrap and carry him around with you wherever he needs to go for his entire life like someone of his status deserves. Maybe that's why he's so grompy. "You peasants expect me to get around MYSELF!? Barbaric! I demand uppies!"
