My friend and I spent yesterday co-opping BG3's early access and I picked a druid. It's cool to play a DND game where Wildshape isn't total garbage because I have been flying around as a crow and sneaking into small spaces as a long hair tabby cat and ramming people down as an auroch and it's a swell time

I have gone extremely far in real estate Royale but am running out of things to do while waiting for collections to tick over. Kiryu wants to go to sotenbori for some reason? I think this is where I gave up on the game last time, though I remember a big shootout on the highway and I haven't unlocked the coliseum so maybe not. It seems like really bad value to try and get every business to S level, but I'm trying anyway

this is just me bloviating about celeste modding so skip if you dont care im just riding high on the experience right now and dont have a better place to rant about it lol https://i.imgur.com/pDE4zdE.mp4 if youre at all a fan of celeste i cant recommend this project highly enough lol, its a functional sequel with three times the scope of the base game and a presentation to match and starts out in difficulty right where reaching the credits leaves off so you can jump in seamlessly, but if you wanna do this kind of poo poo too it will comfortably get you here eventually. celeste has a massive modding scene thats been at it since release and this collab is basically a community swan song, it's a highlight reel of the entire enterprise in mechanics, assets, design, and difficulty which rub shoulders with smw romhacking in terms of how far they've been collectively pushed, but with the project's structure you can get as much out of it as you want. it's got 5 lobbies separated by tech complexity, and they've each got subgroupings for how difficult a given level is for its lobby and also freeform level selection. if you only ever beat the regular chapters in celeste you could still play through the beginner lobby in strawberry jam and get roughly that same amount of content's worth of novel material, and if you've beaten farewell you can get through the intermediate lobby comfortably which taken together is about the size of everything available in the base game but with half a decade's worth of customization worked in. if it grabs you enough to want to get into a lot of the tech you see in speedrunning you can just carry on, and eventually get into the frontiers of the engine's ceiling. the expansiveness and organization makes the curve smooth enough that you'll keep silently improving so that by the time you get to what you last figured your limit would be you can keep going in sequence, and it's got an exhaustive tutorial system you can access at any time that explains and demos and lets you test more or less every bit of tech that's been discovered and explored to-date, rated to where you'll need it. it took like two years to make across hundreds of people and it shows. it's definitely the most impressive singular mod ive played for a game. the amount of bespoke stuff produced for it is insane even given the full body of modded content that exists to pull from, which if youve never touched anything outside of base celeste is all gonna be new to you anyway besides. just as a representative example it's got 9+ hours of unique music composed for it. if it hooks you it's gonna be a really longform experience too. cant recommend it enough.

One Uber boss dead. Working on my 2nd. One encounter done solo that I’m pretty proud of (The Feared) 38/40 challenges done

I saw the uzumaki thing but I completely missed a new netflix one piece trailer dropped and it's kind of nuts how good it looks. and everything I've heard from people who have seen the series from previews is that it's shockingly good outside of some jokes that fall flat and stuff. turns out using a lot of practical effects instead of all cgi works a lot better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ades3pQbeh8&hd=1 I am eating super loving good right now with everything coming out in the anime and manga world well...except flcl. but I can ignore that because flcl never needed any sequels anyways
