Russian occupation authorities close Crimean Bridge for traffic again

So sad for moscow, they now have all those tourist cars clogging up the logistics lines. There was a 15km traffic jam on the road north into the Kherson region. Military supplies just could not get past it.

Keep those tourists coming.

Glory to Ukraine....

Its also a really odd situation; one would expect that Ukraine is the one who wants those tourists to mess with the Russian logistics but then again not, because that introduces unnecessary civilians to the war zone. But then on the other hand, Russia wants the tourists to go to Crimea and actively promotes such activity, but also wants them to not be there because it messes with their logistics.

I've made a huge mistake.
Stormshadow/SCALP has previously been exported to Egypt, Greece, Italy, India, Qatar, Saudi, and UAE. I wonder if more nations are now showing an interest in adding some to their arsenal given it's pretty clear "the second best military in the world" is seemingly powerless to stop them. I assume at the moment whatever manufacturing capacity there is focused on managing UK/French/Ukraine stocks, but after that I'm not sure who meets the three requirements of money, not having something equivalent already, and being politically acceptable.

Its Clinton era, so the Budapest Memorandum was just signed or being made, so it at least tracks to a warning that "if you sign this it means that we will actually need to honor this at some point in the future".

I think it'd be great having it behind a donation. This is the right width but I'm not sure about getting it down to 64 vertical pixels. easy pass on the file size though.

Looks good, we can lose some width to get it to the right height. Can we see what that looks like?

This kind of poo poo was really common in the Soviet Union. It's not that Russia wants X or Y, it's that the whole edifice runs on commandments on above that are often so disjointed that actor A in Russia will try to achieve X while actor B will try to achieve Y, and everyone is trying their best to serve the orders they are under, while in reality the goals X and Y are mutually incompatible and trying them at the same time just makes both fail.

Command economies, not even once.

I have a mystery, thread! I work at a small museum currently hosting a traveling exhibit about water that includes a bit where people can leave written affirmations about taking care of water sources etc; someone left this one tucked up near the top. I'm pretty sure that's the old belarusian flag the opposition uses and I was curious what the cyrillic said- I know we have some russian/ eastern european goons itt so I figured this'd be the place to ask. If its not lovely it'll stay up even though i suspect it doesnt have anything to do with water lol.
