Would be awesome to get to revisit those games, and maaaaaaaybe get another one?  Nice unexpected perk of the ABK acquisition is Hasbro now wanting Xbox to put Transformers games out

Gamer score is about 104k. I play a healthy combo of single and multiplayer games. I don't go chasing cheevos until one of those progress tabs shows up on my idle screen. And I don't chase anything that's ridiculous or unfun. Examples of unfun are CoD campaigns completed on Veteran. Examples of ridiculous include bringing the gnome to the rocket in HL2 E2.

I don't care and I'm not going to do achievement hunting on garbage games to inflate a number. The only true achievement during the 360 era was having over 90% avoided on the rep panel because of goon teams in Call of Duty.

Far Cry is the one Ubisoft game I still enjoy playing because it's actually fun, but god drat every game seems to be a game of one-upsmanship in which the writers attempt to fill the game with the absolute most dogshit clichés possible. Thank gently caress they let you skip cutscenese

I was hyped as heck for Far Cry 4 after seeing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TE69TPrkfcQ Then the game launched and it turned out none of that content was actually in the game and it was massively downgraded too. Real bummer because that demo looked so fun to play but should lave learned after the exact same thing happened with Far Cry 3. Their gameplay demos always look really fun but aren't actually part of the final game (unless that's changed recently?) so I've written them off entirely. The last Far Cry looked great in the demos and Cuba is an exciting setting but all I could think was "Is any of this actually in the game?" and then it came out and general consensus seemed to be "Meh" so I wrote that off too. It's why the Star Wars & Avatar games they revealed recently are kinda frustrating because they look really good and I'm almost certain the final games will be completely different at launch and not look or play anything like what they've shown us. Get major Anthem vibes of them being developed just for demo purposes and entirely separate to what the actual games are.

Bare bones storyline doing the bare minimum to gate gear and additional areas etc. No infinitely respawning checkpoints, unless you decide to keep playing sides against each other. I could see two main factions, with some alternative options like a crime cartel or international aid group or foreign legion to do side missions for. I don't get why anyone would be even slightly interested in that when Skyrim exists. Maybe it's some Oblivion-themed expansion thing for Elder Scrolls Online? I've never played it and not 100% confident I'm right here but isn't Morrowind a beloved part of the franchise and they opted to just add it to ESO as a whole updated area with stuff for people to do? Maybe they're doing that with Oblivion? No idea how many different teams there even are but they've got people working on Starfield, a team for Elder Scrolls Online and another team for Fallout 76 and remastering anything seems like a big waste since Starfield will no doubt get a lot of post-launch support and they'll probably have people starting work on a new Elder Scrolls game soon? They don't seem very interested in remakes either aside from Skyrim being a special case? Another remake of that seems like it would be more likely. Then again their fanbase seems really into everything they do so maybe an Oblivion remaster would be a huge deal but idgi.

I think OP is referring to Skyblivion, an overhaul mod that renders Oblivion's Cyrodiilic setting in the updated Skyrim Special Edition engine, and which's been in development for like a decade now by a small team of scrappy modders. Also, update on Xbox desktop update - still no update.
