NJPW G1 Climax 25th July 2023 MOTYC: SANADA vs Kaito Kiyomiya A really smartly put-together match that the crowd was absolutely eating up. Loved the extended sequence at the start with Kaito out-manoeuvring SANADA (almost felt like a World of Sport match), the pay-off to SANADA's leg being worked, and the references to Muto/Misawa

HM: Tomohiro Ishii vs. Henare - NJPW G1 Climax Night 12 8/2 HM: Hirooki Goto vs. Jeff Cobb - NJPW G1 Climax Night 12 8/2 HM: Tetsuya Naito vs. Zack Sabre Jr. - NJPW G1 Climax Night 12 8/2 Solid night of action, Naito/ZSJ was the best match which was no real surprise given how well they work together. Goto and Cobb kind of caught me by surprise by how well they meshed, and Ishii and Henare was exactly what I was expecting and hoping for.
