Yeah, I don't really think Howdy being a clear derivative of horror stuff is that big a deal. Wrestling rips off pop culture all the time and its not as if Captain Howdy or The Phone Booth are basic mainstream information. Like Bray Wyatt's original form was just Cape Fear and people loved that. If a wrestler had brilliant creative ideas they probably wouldn't be wrestling for a living.
