Who here's seen that "Planet of the Bass" meme that's making fun of 90s eurodance? Apparently the guy behind it's gonna make a full version, do you think it might actually chart through TikTok Meme Power And if so, could we seriously see a revival of that style, ironic or not?

i guess i'll be the contrarian and say that psychedelic switch is my least favorite tune on the album. it's also the longest tune on the album, maybe those things are related but maybe not. i may not love a lot of these tracks in the way i love stuff off emotion dedicated and loneliest time but i really appreciate how adventurous the album is. the harmonies on airplane and kollage, the beats on anything to be with you and after last night, the overall arrangement on stadium love and put it to rest... there's lots of stuff i Respect above all else

I'll also say that Psychadelic Switch is probably in the bottom half of my favorite tracks. It's fine, just kind of monochromatic in an otherwise densely layered album. I think the darker, more textured songs like Kollage, So Right and Put It to Rest are the real standouts from this record. I have to see Stadium Love performed live at least once. Who wouldn't want to shout Hey! Boy! Saw you on the weekend! at the top of their lungs.

I really love a lot of the music on Lovliest Time, the backing beats sound so much busier than I'm used to but in a good way. After Last Night is a prime example, the breakbeat-y drum and all.

I played Vampire for the first time in a while the other day and it's still incredible. I'm not sure if I'm demographically fit to truly love her albums, but I'll happily keep up with the singles.

When the whole crowd knows Psychedelic Switch it's gonna be even better than it was. Live performance of Go Find Yourself converted me, great intro to the second encore.

Pitchfork gave Loveliest a 7.4, which was identical to their score for Emotion. Kind of annoying that 7.4 is forever Carly's ceiling with them since nothing can be allowed to go higher than that until they rightfully give it a 10/10.
