I know we're all gonna talk about that loving nonsense twist at the end of that insanely boring main event but I wanna take a second and say Brock vs. Cody fuckin' stunk. I was expecting them to go out there and kill each other and I got Cody laying down on the floor for 17 minutes instead. What the gently caress. Why does Brock suddenly give a gently caress about "saving" Cody, he's been doing nothing but killing him for four months! He F5s him on the floor twice and instead of just rolling him in the ring and pinning him, he leaves him there. It made zero sense with the story they had told up to that point and worse than that, it was really loving boring! Brock shaking Cody's hand was cool, I guess. Unambiguously the most that Brock has ever put someone over, maybe ever.

I guess the explanation is that Jimmy is jealous of Jey potentially winning the title/becoming tribal chief, which is fine for me. But these roman matches are so difficult to get through just for stuff like that to happen every single time.
