It’s a big  in the iOS AwfulApp thread, but they removed that feature a few months back when Imgur announced their plans to delete anonymously uploaded or infrequently accessed images, since Jeffrey and the admins didn’t want there to be a repeat of waffleimages and dead links everywhere. There was also an issue where the upload feature wouldn’t work if too many people used it in a short period of time. Now, since Imgur hasn’t started the purge yet and there isn’t a viable replacement in place at the moment beyond shortcuts (IMO, the shortcuts thing is fine and works better), some people are avoiding updating the app or want the feature put back in.

Right, that makes sense (both sides). I have thought about coming up with some sort of simple API for image uploads, writing a minimal server that supports it and putting it on my own server, and bodging in support in the android app. Maybe WebDAV would be enough? Hm. On the other hand I'm lazy and bad at finishing projects.

I'm trying to drink less caffeine in order to both save money and lessen my anxiety. Today was the first day and it was loving terrible. I really didn't think the caffeine was affecting me that much but man did I feel it when it was missing. I'm trying to drink black tea instead and its just not the same. I did a little math just now and I would need to drink at least 16 tea bags every day to equal what I was consuming in energy drinks before. Sooooo yeah I probably need to cut back. Maybe not all at once like today though. Maybe I can taper off. I've just been in a really bad mood all day and I think I was clenching my jaw at work and now my tooth hurts a lot which was not helped my mood. Just waiting for the painkillers to kick in now

Ah gently caress. It's supposed to hit 36 today... humidity is at 55%, but it'll probably get closer to 75% later in the afternoon. I feel like I'm more sensitive to the heat since I caught COVID. Just gotta make it through the brew day today. Also the one the day after tomorrow.
