Histamine is a neurotransmitter associated with immune response and sleep regulation. Making you sleepy/wired isn't a side-effect of histamine blockers, it's a primary effect! Okay, that's all the drug knowledge I have on this topic. I think it's cool that the way to stop overproducing snot is by blocking brain chemicals. |

The main thing I have learned from going to an allergist is how unpredictable allergies and allergic responses are. Like you can get an allergy prick test that says you’re allergic to milk, but if you don’t actually have any symptoms of an allergic reaction, are you really allergic??

Was almost late to get my shot because I went to get a haircut and there were a million people there!! I thought schools had already started and it wouldn’t be crowded but the Catholic and private schools don’t start till tomorrow so there were a bunch of kids there gettin haircuts

I have a list of things I'm supposed to tell the intake nurse. This is how a physician is able to relate to another physician what work they've done already, without stepping on their toes, professionally. I really hope I get the list right. I only understand about half of the things on it. |

Ms Cruft and Cruft Jr have all the cars, so I have to take my bike to the physical exam at the hospital. It's only like a 10 minute ride, NBD, but I have back-to-back work meetings around the appointment, so I'm probably going to have to take all these video calls from the hospital lunch room. |
