I don't understand why I can't harass people online. Seriously, somebody please explain why I shouldn't be allowed to stalk others on social media!

So, as I see it, they're either suggesting that stations will have through-ways or bypasses so cars don't have to stop (although it raises the question of how you board a Tesla if no one is stopping at the station where you are). If that's the case then it's just another "we'll done, you've invented the railway, but not as good".

Or are they saying that (as per Elon's previous "infinite tunnels, just keep digging down") ideas, that every casino will be connected by a direct route to every other casino? In which case, that's spectacularly dumb and they're basically just doing "a road network, but underground and no poors".

Wow. Such innovation.

Also, the other awful city-state filled with gambling and rich people has already done it. Monaco has a full-size road system under the cliffs between the harbour and the freeway, with multiple lanes, roundabouts, traffic lights, advertising screens and everything

You’re thinking too hard about it. It’s gonna be tunnels connecting hotels together with maybe some places where they come together to change routes or whatever. It will definitely stop at the stations and stop because the tunnels are backed up by other cars in front of you (there are videos of this happening with their current tunnel). But unlike a subway where you gotta “waste all that time” for other people to get on and get off it’s gonna be like a personal taxi that drives in underground death traps that you can’t escape from when the batteries inevitably catch fire.

A personal taxi between subway stops seems way less efficient than a normal rear end subway.

To be fair, most people buying a F150 also don't need the storage, so they seem somewhat perspicacious as far their target market goes.

"Looks like a truck, but has the utility of a SUV" is far from the worst positioning.
